I went the amazing and unique exhibition of “Jeff Koons: A Retrospective”. Over the last three decades, Koons has become one of the most important artists of the postwar era. Throughout his career, Koons has pioneered new approaches to the readymade, Tested the boundaries between art and mass culture, and challenged the limits of industrial fabrication in works of great beauty and emotional intensity. His elevation of familiar object – inflatable toys, basketballs, vacuum cleaners – from the mundane to the exceptional shines a hard light on the culture in which we live and art’s place within that culture.

Lady Gaga commissioned Koons to create artwork for her 2013 album “Artpop”

“The partnership with H&M was really exciting for me and the chance to showcase one of my most popular work to a new generation of people was inspiring” – Jeff Koons
